1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Monva ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. The Service

Monva is a personal finance tracking application that lets you record transactions, manage budgets and accounts, and view spending insights. The App works fully offline; cloud sync and AI voice input are optional features. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

  • Monva is free to start. Some features require a premium subscription, offered as an in-app purchase.
  • Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are managed via RevenueCat. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store / Google Play account settings.
  • Any free trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends.
  • Refunds are handled by the respective app store under their policies.

4. Your Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for keeping your device and account secure.
  • You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our services.
  • You are responsible for backing up your data. Exporting to CSV is available at any time from Settings.

5. Not Financial Advice

Monva is a tool for tracking and organizing your own financial information. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Any decisions you make based on information in the App are your sole responsibility.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Monva and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App.

8. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated. You can delete all local data by uninstalling the App.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
